Book release: Watch for announcements about release of my latest book, Students to the Rescue: High-Engagement, High-Impact Learning Experiences, co-published by ISTE+ASCD.

June 28-July 1: ISTE+ASCD, Orlando, Florida
Looking forward to connecting with friends new and old at this global gathering, bringing together ISTE+ASCD in Orlando, Florida. I’ll be facilitating a session with exceptional teacher Alex Cambell, whose crime-solving students are featured in the new documentary, Murder 101. Our session, Teaching True Crime: Challenging Students to Investigate Cold Cases, Advocate for Justice, is on Sunday, June 28, 1-2 p.m. We’ll share strategies to bring real-world learning to your students. March 18-21: EARCOS Teacher Conference, Bangkok
Join me in Bangkok, Thailand, for the East Asia Regional Council of Schools event. I’ll be facilitating a preconference institute, Designing Real-World Learning Experiences for Engagement and Impact, plus several workshop sessions.

Past Events

Previous years have taken me from Chile to China to Colombia, from India to South Korea to Australia, and all across the United States to support teachers and school systems in creating real-world learning experiences for their students. In addition to in-person events and coaching residencies focused on project-based learning strategies, I have also engaged with educators virtually on initiaties ranging from Portrait of a Graduate visions to community partnerships to support student learning.
